It is a pleasure to introduce our new experts 

It is a great pleasure in current exceptional circumstances to share news about our new recruitments. Over ten new experts have joined us.  Among them, both experienced top experts and new talents. 

Pharmacovigilance team

Piia Tirilä, M. Sc. (Pharm.), has started as a team leader of our pharmacovigilance team. Piia has several years of experience from Santen’s pharmacovigilance department where she functioned as the pharmacovigilance director for the EMEA (Europe, the Middle East, Africa) region. 

Zahra Hussein-Ollikainen, M. Sc(Pharm.), is another new member in our pharmacovigilance team and she also works with quality-related tasks. Zahra has previously worked with medical information, pharmacovigilance and product complaints. 

Wholesale team

Jaana Hautala (Ph.D. industrial pharmacology), brings her strong expertise to the wholesale team. Jaana has a wide experience from pharmaceutical industry in Finland and abroad, she has worked in Fimea as well as a consultant for the pharmaceutical industry.   

In addition, Kristian Mikander (B. Sc. Pharm.) and Milla Jalonen, who is soon completing her master’s degree (M. Sc. Pharm.), have joined the wholesales team. Milla has previously worked in Oriola as a coordinator for imports of products for compassionate use and she also has experience from working in a pharmacy. Milla is currently finalising her master’s thesis on pharmacogenomics of migraine and drug interactions. 

Marketing Compliance and Medical team

Tiina Leppänen, M. Sc. (Pharm.) and Ph.D., joined our marketing compliance and medical team. Tiina has previously worked as a university lecturer and researcher at Tampere University so she has strong experience from pharmacological research and teaching pharmacology. 

Market Access team

Sofia Parviainen (M.Sc. Pharm.), who has previously worked with pricing and reimbursement tasks in Oriola, has started in the Market Access team.  

Regulatory Services team

Eva Eloranta (B.Sc. Pharm and M.Sc. Bioscience) has started in the Regulatory Services team. Swedish speaking Eva has 15 years of experience from regulatory affairs in the Nordic countries. She joined DRA from Sandoz and has previously also worked with regulatory affairs in Orifarm.   

The Regulatory Affairs team is also joined by artwork coordinators Jenni Rantala (B.Sc. Pharm., BBA) and Krijesa Vuciterna who recently got her degree (B.Sc. Pharm.). 

Medical Language and Communications team

Two project assistants, Olivia Sinnemaa (B.Sc. Pharm) and Emilia Eriksson (B.Sc. Pharm.), have started in the Languages and Communication team. 

Assistant team

Aronia Ellonen passed her matriculation exam this spring and joined the company as an office assistant in our invoicing and assistant team. Aronia handles general tasks in our office and greets you at our reception desk.
